We are centrally located between Orlando and Tampa, just a few minutes from Interstate 4. Since we are in a rural area, GPS and car navigation systems often get our address wrong. The best routes:
From Interstate 4: take Exit 48 (County Road 557), then drive 3 miles south toward Lake Alfred. The Barn will be on your right after a long stretch of white fence.
From Lake Alfred: (following signs to Interstate 4) take County Road 557 north for about 4 miles. The Barn will be on your left at the fork where County Road 557A begins.
About Our Season
Since we opened in 1969, The Barn has operated seasonally. We open for the season on the first Saturday in October and we close on the last Saturday in May. The other shops at our location—The Stable Gifts & Crafts, The Back Porch Tearoom, and The Back Yard Garden Shop—remain open year-round.
